Responding to a city and county call from the Waterford PPN we organised four training events for newly arrived older Ukrainian men and women.
These individuals had few of no computer skills but they urgently needed to contact family and friends who were scattered because of the conflict.
We helped them to set up email addresses along with Telegram and Facebook groups. We were assisted by the
Waterford City Council Ukraine Response Office and WWETB. This is an ongoing programme.
